Primate Ayodele Warns Atiku, ADC Against October 31 Campaign Kickoff

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to reconsider their planned October 31, 2026, campaign kickoff.

Ayodele, in a video shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, warned the party against commencing its campaign on the scheduled date, claiming it could experience setbacks if it proceeded with the plan.

The cleric urged the ADC leadership to move the campaign kickoff to any date in November, describing October 31 as spiritually unfavourable for the party.

“Change the date of your campaign commencement from 31 October to any date in November,” Ayodele said.

He further stated that he foresaw difficulties for the party if it ignored his warning, adding that a change of date could ensure a smoother campaign process.

“I am seeing a setback if you start on October 31. The date is not good. Move it to any date in November, then you can have a smooth sail,” he added.

Ayodele urged Atiku and other ADC leaders to take his warning seriously, stressing that his advice was not motivated by personal interests but was offered in his capacity as a spiritual leader.

The cleric is known for making prophecies concerning political developments and other national issues, many of which have attracted public reactions and discussions.
