The 2027 vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabi’u Kwankwaso, on Friday met with former Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, in Abuja to celebrate his 80th birthday and mark the launch of his memoir.
Kwankwaso congratulated the former governor and wished him continued good health, longevity and many more years of meaningful service to the nation.
Jang served as Plateau State governor from 2007 to 2015 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former governor unveiled his memoir, From Airman to Politics: My Life, on August 1, 2026, as part of activities marking his 80th birthday.
The meeting between Kwankwaso and Jang highlights the continued engagement among prominent political figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
