Persons with disabilities in Cross River State on Friday joined hundreds of supporters at the “One Million March” organised in support of Governor Bassey Edet Otu in Calabar.
Videos from the event showed groups of persons with disabilities participating in the march, with some using crutches and other mobility aids, while others were seated on low supports as they joined the gathering.
The participants were seen wearing green caps and black T-shirts emblazoned with images of Governor Otu. Banners promoting the governor and the 2027 elections were also displayed at various points around the venue.
Their participation added to the large turnout at the event, which was organised to demonstrate support for the governor and his administration.
Meanwhile, Big Brother Naija reality star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, was also among those who attended the event.
