The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results for candidates who participated in the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released before midnight on Friday.
This disclosure was made in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter) by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement, candidates who sat for the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026, can expect their results to be made available later in the day.
“This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on Thursday, 16th April 2026, that their results will be released today before midnight,” the statement read.
JAMB further noted that an official announcement would be made and published on its platform once the results are fully released.
The 2026 UTME commenced nationwide on April 16, with thousands of candidates participating in the computer-based examination required for admission into tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
