The spokesman of the City Boys Movement, Bashir Ahmad, has taken another swipe at Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, over the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
Ahmad, a former presidential aide, made the remark in a post on his verified X handle while reacting to Davido’s call for US President Donald Trump to pay attention to the August 15, 2026, governorship election in Osun.
“Will you not wait for President Trump to send troops and help your uncle win the election?” Ahmad wrote.
The comment comes amid an ongoing social media exchange between Ahmad and Davido, with both figures repeatedly trading criticisms online.
Ahmad had previously expressed confidence that Davido would return to X to complain about the outcome of the election, further escalating their public war of words ahead of the poll.
