President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has said the President never promised Nigerians an “Eldorado” within his first three years in office.
Dare made the statement on Monday in a post on X while criticising the opposition for its continued attacks on the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the opposition has failed to present alternative policies or a clear blueprint for addressing the country’s challenges, instead focusing on criticising the decisions and achievements of the Tinubu administration.
“President Tinubu did not promise Eldorado in three years. No country solved its challenges in four years. It’s always a journey,” Dare stated.
He maintained that the administration’s reforms, including what he described as bold economic decisions, were aimed at rebuilding the foundations of the Nigerian economy.
Dare said the government would continue to highlight the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda while defending its policies against opposition criticism.
He further accused those seeking to take power of having little to offer beyond what he described as an ambition for political power.
“The opposition continues to attack the successful and bold decisions of President Tinubu. We will continue to point the results out and defend them,” he said.
Dare added that the administration would intensify efforts to make Nigerians understand that the rebuilding of the country’s economic pillars was an ongoing process.
