Cristiano Ronaldo returned to action in style on Friday, scoring as Al Nassr secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portugal international started the match on the bench before coming on in the second half as Al Nassr continued their impressive run.

Al Amri opened the scoring in the 18th minute, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead going into the break.

Angelo doubled Al Nassr’s advantage just after half-time, scoring in the 46th minute before Joao Felix added a third in the 58th minute.

Ronaldo then completed the rout in the 83rd minute, finishing a well-worked move after being set up by Yahya.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the goal took Ronaldo’s career tally to 977.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had been left out of Al Nassr’s starting XI in their previous fixture and watched from the stands as the club defeated Al Fateh.

His return to the pitch and immediate goal will provide another boost for Al Nassr as they continue their campaign in Saudi Arabia.
