The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has uncovered another allegedly fake agency operating under the name National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office.
The anti-corruption agency disclosed this on Friday, stating that the purported agency had been unlawfully allocated office space within the premises of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
The discovery forms part of the ICPC’s ongoing investigation into the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).
According to the commission, the latest finding follows the earlier discovery of two other allegedly fictitious agencies during the investigation.
The ICPC is continuing its probe to determine the individuals and circumstances behind the creation and operation of the purported agencies.
