Nigeria’s Envoy to Kenya Presents Credentials to Somali President

Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Kenya and Somalia, Ambassador Danlami Ibrahim, has formally presented his Letters of Credence to Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

Ibrahim presented his credentials to President Mohamud at Villa Somalia in Mogadishu, marking the formal commencement of his diplomatic assignment in Somalia.

The development was announced by Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The ministry said Ibrahim is Nigeria’s High Commissioner-designate to Kenya, with concurrent accreditation to Somalia.

The presentation underscores Nigeria’s continued diplomatic engagement with Somalia and its commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
