Argentina have reportedly submitted a special request to FIFA to wear their all-blue away kit for their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final clash against England.
The reigning world champions secured their place in the last four with a convincing 3-1 victory over Switzerland, while England advanced after edging Norway 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
According to Argentine journalist Gastón Edul, the Albiceleste have asked FIFA for permission to wear their all-blue strip instead of their iconic blue-and-white striped home jersey for the showdown with the Three Lions.
Argentina have worn their traditional home kit in five of their six matches at the tournament, with the only exception coming during their group-stage encounter against Jordan, when they featured in the all-blue kit.
FIFA is yet to confirm whether the request will be approved ahead of the blockbuster semi-final.
