The Kremlin has called on the United States and Iran to return to the negotiating table amid renewed hostilities, warning that continued escalation could have far-reaching consequences for both regional stability and the global economy.
Speaking on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov urged all parties involved in the conflict to exercise restraint and prioritize diplomacy over further military action.
“We call on all parties in this conflict to exercise restraint and return to the negotiating table,” Peskov said in response to questions about the latest wave of attacks.
He cautioned that an intensification of the conflict could trigger broader instability across the Middle East and negatively impact the world economy.
According to Peskov, the ongoing escalation carries the risk of “negative consequences for the situation in the region and the global economy,” underscoring growing international concern over the potential fallout from the crisis.
The Kremlin’s appeal comes as tensions continue to rise, with global leaders closely monitoring developments amid fears that the conflict could disrupt international markets and further destabilize an already volatile region.
