Tinubu Returns to Abuja After 10-Day Working Visit


President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a ten-day working visit to Lagos, where he engaged in a series of high-level meetings, project inaugurations, and state visits.

The President was welcomed at the airport on Monday by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and other top government officials.

According to a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President had arrived in Lagos on Friday, September 26, after attending the coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan.

During his stay, Tinubu met with top investors including Bayo Ogunlesi, Chief Executive Officer of Global Infrastructure Partners, and Keem Belo-Osagie, Chairman of Metis Capital Partners and former Chairman of UBA and Etisalat.

He also visited Imo State, where he inaugurated projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma and unveiled a book authored by the governor.

Over the weekend, the President traveled to Jos, Plateau State, to attend the funeral of Mama Lydia, mother of APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda.
