An Ikeja Special Offences Court in Lagos has granted popular relationship coach and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, bail in the sum of ₦20 million over an alleged ₦69.15 million fraud.
Justice Rahman Oshodi admitted the defendant to bail on Thursday, with the condition that she provides two responsible sureties in like sum. The sureties must present proof of financial capacity and other documents required by the court.
The judge also ordered that Blessing CEO must not travel outside the country without the court’s permission pending the determination of the case.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting Blessing CEO on allegations that she fraudulently obtained ₦69.15 million from a company after allegedly claiming she could secure a property in the Lekki area of Lagos for the firm, despite reportedly lacking ownership or authority over the property.
She was arraigned on multiple counts bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
During the bail hearing, her counsel urged the court to grant her bail on liberal terms, arguing that she had fully cooperated with investigators and posed no flight risk.
Ruling on the application, Justice Oshodi granted bail with the stated conditions and adjourned the matter until October 12, 2026, for the continuation of trial.
The case is expected to resume as the prosecution presents evidence to support the allegations against the social media personality.
