Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that no government can provide lasting peace, insisting that true peace can only be found in God.
The renowned cleric made the statement while ministering during a church service in Warri, Delta State, where he urged Christians not to depend solely on earthly institutions for inner peace and fulfillment.
According to Oyedepo, although governments have the responsibility of providing security and ensuring good governance, genuine peace of mind remains a divine gift that only God can give.
“No government in this world can give you peace, neither can you find it in the market. It is only God that can give you peace,” he said.
He encouraged believers to cultivate a deeper relationship with God, stressing that lasting tranquility comes through faith and a life anchored in God’s presence.
Oyedepo’s message centered on the importance of spiritual dependence, reminding worshippers that while human systems have their place, enduring peace is found only through God.
