ADC Unveils New National Secretariat

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Monday commissioned its new National Secretariat in Abuja, declaring a renewed commitment to democratic strengthening, accountable leadership, and national development.

Speaking at the inauguration, the party’s national chairman, Sen. David Mark, said the facility represents far more than a physical structure — describing it as a strategic hub for policy innovation, leadership grooming, and long-term political planning.

Mark reaffirmed the ADC’s resolve to deepen democratic values, promote transparent governance, and build institutions that truly serve citizens across the country.

“This complex will be a central hub where strategies are developed, ideas matured, leaders emerge, and policies are shaped to strengthen democracy nationwide,” he said.

He noted that the new edifice reflects the party’s determination to contribute to a Nigeria where institutions work, governance remains accountable, and the welfare of citizens takes precedence over partisan interests.

Mark described the inauguration as a symbol of unity, discipline, and a renewed political identity, urging party members to uphold justice, equity, and public service. He called on ADC stakeholders to embrace a style of politics rooted in responsibility, integrity, and nation-building.

“My message is simple: our actions will be anchored on character, courage, competence, discipline, and integrity, as we redefine political engagement and institutional conduct in service of the Nigerian people,” he added.

With humility and what he described as “unwavering faith in democracy,” Mark dedicated the new National Secretariat Complex to God, stating that it stands as a contribution to the party’s institutional growth and to Nigeria’s democratic consolidation.
