The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has commended Governor Uba Sani for fostering unity and peace in Kaduna State.
Speaking in Kaduna on Sunday, Yilwatda praised the governor for eliminating the long-standing divisions of religion and ethnicity that once plagued the state.
He said Sani’s leadership has transformed Kaduna from a hotspot of insecurity into a model of peaceful coexistence and inclusion.
“Your Excellency, I want to thank you for doing something different in Kaduna State. Kaduna was once known for insecurity — but the story has changed,” Yilwatda said.
“Thank you for valuing the lives of the people and uniting Kaduna State. You have removed the problems of religion and tribalism, giving everyone a voice,” he added.
According to him, Sani’s approach has erased boundaries between faiths and ethnic groups, giving equal recognition to all residents.
“Today, the mosque and the church are the same — you have given them one voice. This is a template that deserves national adoption,” the APC chairman stated.
He also lauded the governor’s achievements in infrastructure and party cohesion, saying, “You have brought everyone under one umbrella, and made us all use the broom to sweep away insecurity.”
