Top Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele, have rekindled their relationship, putting an end to years of reported rivalry within the Nigerian film industry.
The renewed bond between the two screen giants became evident after they reconnected on social media, following each other on Instagram and exchanging warm, playful comments.
In a notable gesture, Toyin Abraham commented on a recent video posted by Funke Akindele, writing: “Aunty Funke, you hot oooo.” Akindele responded with lighthearted humour, calling Toyin a “stubborn fellow” and expressing gratitude: “Toyin lol, onijogbon, Thanks dear.”
The development comes a year after Toyin Abraham publicly called for peace among herself, Funke Akindele, and Mercy Aigbe in an Instagram post aimed at ending the long-running tension between them.
