
ABUJA – Senator Seriake Dickson, National Leader of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has confirmed that the party’s vice presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has successfully completed the submission of his nomination details to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 presidential election.
Dickson disclosed this in a statement shared on his official Facebook page on Monday after a meeting with the former Kano State governor.
According to him, Kwankwaso briefed him on the outcome of his recent consultations and engagements, describing the developments as positive and encouraging.
“I have just visited and held discussions with our Vice Presidential candidate, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, CON,” Dickson wrote.
“He briefed me on very positive developments arising from his engagements and consultations. He also confirmed that he has concluded his deposition, and his name has been successfully uploaded to the INEC portal as the vice presidential candidate of our great party for the 2027 presidential election.”
Dickson reaffirmed the party’s commitment to its electoral ambitions, stating that the NDC leadership and members remain focused on their mission ahead.
“We remain on course and steadfast in our commitment to the mission ahead. Long live the NDC. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he added.
