This pattern continues on Tuesday and Wednesday, with morning rains and isolated thunderstorms over states like Ogun, Ondo, Lagos, and Cross River, and heavier rain activities expected later in the day across the entire southern region.

Public Advisory
NiMet has urged airline operators to obtain airport-specific weather documentation to ensure safe flight planning and operations. The agency also encourages the general public to stay informed by following official weather updates through its website, www.nimet.gov.ng, and to take safety measures during stormy weather.

As Nigeria braces for these days of intense weather, residents are advised to avoid flood-prone areas, secure loose items, and plan their activities accordingly.
