Senator Ashiru facilitates transformers for communities in Ifelodun, Offa LGs

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Oyelola Ashiru, has facilitated two 500KVA transformers for Offa and Idofian communities.

The one of  transformers was delivered on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Ayaba community in Offa Local Government and will feed four more communities including, Anilelerin, Aro-Meta and part of Tawakalitu axis.

Before this project, the community has been experiencing low voltage for more than eight years, because of its distance from the available transformer.

While the 500KVA for Idofian in Ifelodun Local Government will feed Ileagbaya, Ile Gomina, Ile Oloyi, Central mosque area, Sawmill, Oremeji Estate, down to Fufu junction and part of Idofian market.

Commenting on the impactful project to the community, the Chairman of Idofian Community Development Association (ICDA), Alhaji Lanre Odofin, described the supply of 500KVA transformer to his community as a dream come through, adding that, it will alleviate suffering and resuscitate the economic activities of Idofian town, after experiencing blackout for more than a year.

Also, the Ayaba community in offa speaking through Elder Micheal Faseki, appreciates the Senator for listening to their yearnings, he further commended the lawmaker for being responsive to his constituents.

The supply of 500KVA to Offa and Idofian respectively, are some of the 2020 capital projects facilitated by the distinguished Senator Oyelola Ashiru.
