Nigeria records 155 new cases of COVID-19, four more deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, disclosed on Monday, September 7, 2020 that the country recorded 155 new cases of the novel coronavirus and four more deaths.

The new figures bring the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 55,160; at least 43,231 have been discharged and 1,061 deaths recorded.

The new cases on Monday were reported from 16 states in the country: Lagos – 42, Plateau – 25, Rivers – 16, Ebonyi – 10, FCT, Abia and Ogun with 9 cases each, Osun-7, Katsina and Kaduna-6 cases each, Ekiti and and Taraba – 4 each, Edo-3, Anambra and Akwa-Ibom -2, Kano-1.
