NCDC- 304 new COVID-19 cases recorded in 14 states, FCT

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said in its update on Sunday night that Nigeria has recorded 304 fresh infections, totalling Nigeria’s confirmed cases of coronavirus to 43,841.

Lagos, the epicentre of the disease recorded 81 of the 304 cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 39, Abia state with 31 cases and Kaduna with 24.

Other states with fresh cases are Rivers- 23, Plateau- 16, Cross River- 13, Ebonyi- 12, Ondo- 12, Ekiti and Edo- 11 each, Benue and Nasarawa- 10 each, Ogun- 6, Gombe- 5.

So far, there has been 20,308 discharged and the infection has claimed 888 lives.
