A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has alleged that former President Muhammadu Buhari ordered that his daughter be denied her salaries throughout her four-year service in government.
Galadima made the claim during an interview on African Independent Television (AIT) on Thursday, stating that the directive was given after he publicly criticised Buhari’s administration.
“Me that I worked for Buhari for 13 years, and my daughter worked for him for four years, he instructed that she should not be paid salaries,” Galadima said.
“She worked for Nigeria for free,” he added.
According to the NNPP stalwart, his daughter was posted to the office of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo during her time in government.
Challenging anyone to dispute his claim, Galadima dared the former president or any official to present bank statements showing otherwise.
