A man identified as the “Kano Thug” has issued a strong warning to notorious bandit leader Kachalla Maha and other alleged sponsors of terrorism, urging them to stay away from Kano State.
In a video circulating on X, the man declared that Kano residents would not tolerate banditry or terrorism, warning anyone planning to extend criminal activities into the state to abandon such intentions.
“Kano is not like Katsina, Zamfara, or Sokoto. We do not tolerate bandits or terrorists here,” he said.
He further claimed that the people of Kano had previously resisted and defeated extremist groups, including Boko Haram and the Maitatsine sect, adding that anyone attempting to bring terrorism into the state would face stiff resistance.
“Our people rose up, fought Boko Haram and Maitatsine, and crushed them completely in this state. Any terrorist who tries to enter Kano will find his final destination here,” he said.
He concluded by praying for peace and security across Kano State and Nigeria, saying, “May Allah continue to protect Kano, protect every part of Nigeria, and grant us lasting peace and security. Ameen.”
