Court dismisses suit challenging nomination of Senator Adeola as APC candidate for Ogun West

A Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Thursday dismissed the suit challenging the selection and nomination of Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Ogun West.

The case was instituted against Senator Solomon Adeola popularly called YAYI by the out- going Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Tolu Odebiyi.

In the judgment delivered by the presiding judge, Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo, the court held that Odebyi’s suit lacked merit and was thereby dismissed.

The Judge further advised that the likes of Senator Tolu Odebiyi should henceforth desist from attempting to take irrational steps to mislead the Court of Law.

However, the Court erupted into a spasm of jubilation after the judgement by Supporters of Senator (Aremo) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, who were led into the Court premises by Dr Iziaq Kunle Salako, the Director General of Yayi Campaign Organization, YAYICO.
