The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed candidates with pending admission offers from the 2020 to 2025 admission cycles to accept or reject the offers on its platform before August 31, 2026.
The Board warned that candidates who fail to take action before the deadline could risk forfeiting their pending admission offers.
JAMB disclosed this in a notice shared on its official X account, urging affected candidates to check their admission status and complete the necessary process ahead of the deadline.
Candidates with outstanding offers are required to log into their JAMB profiles and access the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to determine whether they have an admission offer awaiting their decision.
Those who wish to proceed with an admission are expected to select the acceptance option, while candidates who do not intend to take up an offer should reject it through the platform.
JAMB CAPS is the Board’s official platform for managing admissions, allowing candidates to view admission offers from institutions and indicate whether they accept or reject them.
The latest directive is particularly important for candidates from the 2020–2025 admission cycles whose previous offers remain unresolved.
The Board advised affected candidates not to wait until the August 31 deadline, but to log into their profiles and complete the required action as soon as possible.
Candidates who fail to respond within the stipulated period may lose the opportunity associated with their pending admission offers.
