UNICAL SUG President Blessing Alims appoint 50 persons as Aides

The President of the University of Calabar, Comr. Blessing Alims, has created history in the university community in terms of leadership.

Comr. Blessing, who was trending on social media and other media outlets as the first female president of the prestigious university over its 49 years of existence, has announced the appointment of over 50 aides to her administration.

Blessing Alims was elected in June 2024 as the UNICAL SUG president, and today her administration has seen different views on running the government.

It’s now on record to note that Blessing Alims is the first University of Calabar Student Union Government President to appoint over 50 appointees as a student union leader.
