Paul Omotosho, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, has been kidnapped.
According to reports, Omotosho was abducted on Saturday night in the state’s Gbonyin Local Government Area along the Agbado-Imesi-Ekiti road.
Omotosho, who is from Imesi-Ekiti, was on his way to his hometown when the gunmen assaulted his vehicle with random gunshots before dragging him into the woods, according to a close source who corroborated the situation.
Segun Dipe, the state’s APC publicity secretary, confirmed the event to Daily Post, saying, “Yes, our chairman has been kidnapped this evening, and we are already working with security agencies towards securing his release.”
