The Lagos State Government has declared that commercial operations on the Blue Line Rail will begin on Monday, September 4th, 2023.
State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to be the first passenger at the Marina Station at 9 a.m.
The Blue Line Rail line will be extended from Marina to Mile 2.
Partial passenger operations will begin on Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Afternoon peak) from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
According to officials, the activities will begin with 12 flights each day for two weeks before ramping up to 76 excursions per day.
