In Lagos State, Mrs. Morenike Williams, a former council chairman, has passed away.
For two terms, from 2014 to 2021, Williams served as executive chairman of the Ikotun/igando Local Council Development Area (IGLCDA), which is part of the Alimosho local government.
She also wanted to run for the Alimosho federal constituency seat on the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket in the general elections of 2023.
However, as at the time this story was filed, the specifics of her death are still vague.
The federal constituency of Alimosho’s APC political family was in a grieving mood as a result of her passing.
