BREAKING NEWS: Sanwo-Olu’s Cabinet list out, Omotoso, Abayomi, Adeyoye return, drops Olowo, Arobieke, Onigbanjo

Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, delivered a list of cabinet nominees to the State House Assembly on Friday for screening and confirmation. The list, which was sent to the Lagos State House of Assembly, had 39 names, a mix of politicians and technocrats. And while some of the previous Cabinet members returned, several did not.

Mr Gbenga Omotoso, ex-Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Sam Egube, ex-Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, ex-Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Aramide Adeyooye, and ex-Commissioner for Education, Tokunbo Wahab made the list.

Former Commissioners Rabiu Olowo (Finance), Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN (Justice and Attorney-General), and Yetunde Arobieke (Wealth Creation) are among those dropped by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Lawal Pedro (SAN), Dr Oreoluwa Finnih-Awokoya, Lekan Fatodu, and Idris Aregbe have been added to the list.
