ABUJA — Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has called on supporters of the President’s re-election campaign to intensify grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general election, declaring that politics rewards action rather than passivity.

Speaking at a gathering of supporters in Abuja on Monday alongside Hon. Francis Shoga, Seyi urged members of the movement to strengthen their presence in communities across the country by engaging directly with Nigerians and promoting the administration’s message.

He encouraged supporters to become “communicators, educators, mobilizers, and ambassadors of hope,” stressing the importance of reaching citizens with facts, empathy, and responsible leadership.

Also addressing the gathering, Shoga charged members to focus on grassroots engagement, saying the campaign’s goal is to secure 10 million votes for President Tinubu.

“We must inform, engage, and empower Nigerians with clarity, facts, and conviction,” Shoga said.

“Our mission is clear. Our target is 10 million votes. Our strength lies in our people. These 10 million votes will not be secured through slogans or social media; they will come from genuine individuals, established structures, meaningful engagement, and diligent work at the grassroots level.”

He urged supporters to recruit more members into the movement and actively participate in mobilization efforts.

“If you believe in this movement, bring someone into it. Get involved. Get organized. Get to work,” he said.

Shoga added that history would judge the commitment of those involved in the campaign, urging supporters to seize the opportunity to organize, mobilize, and contribute to the President’s re-election effort.

The remarks come as political groups aligned with President Tinubu continue to ramp up consultations and grassroots activities ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
