Arsenal F.C. have officially been confirmed champions of the 2025/2026 Premier League season following Manchester City F.C.’s 1-1 draw away to AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
City needed a victory at the Vitality Stadium to keep the title race alive heading into the final day of the campaign, but Pep Guardiola’s side failed to secure the crucial three points, handing Arsenal their long-awaited league triumph.
Eli Junior Kroupi gave Bournemouth the lead with a stunning curling strike that beat goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, leaving City chasing the game for much of the encounter.
Despite dominating possession, the defending champions struggled to turn their chances into goals. Bournemouth nearly extended their advantage on two occasions, but David Brooks was unable to capitalize.
Erling Haaland eventually rescued a point for City with a late equalizer, but the result was not enough to prevent Arsenal from sealing the title with one match still left to play.
The Gunners are now set to receive the Premier League trophy during Sunday’s clash against Crystal Palace F.C., capping off a remarkable campaign that sees them return to the summit of English football.
