Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, has set the record straight on long-standing speculations linking her romantically with fellow superstar, Wizkid.
The award-winning singer had recently revealed in an interview that she once dated a public figure but kept the relationship private at the request of her partner, who preferred to remain discreet despite openly flirting with other women.
Her revelation quickly fueled assumptions among fans and social media users, with many concluding she was referring to Wizkid, given past rumours about a romance between the two stars.
However, in a fresh interview on The Breakfast Club, Tiwa Savage dismissed the claims, emphasizing that while she has great love and respect for Wizkid, he was not the person she spoke about.
“Shoutout to Wizkid. I love and respect him but he isn’t the one I was referring to. I said the person was a public figure but it’s not him,” she clarified.
The mother of one declined to reveal the identity of the celebrity she dated, leaving fans guessing.
