Tuokpe Onuwaje, the first wife of social media influencer and former presidential aide Reno Omokri, has accused him of neglecting their son who lives with special needs.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Onuwaje alleged that Omokri had failed to spend meaningful time with the child since June 2024, despite the boy’s need for extra care and attention.
She claimed their son had been left yearning for his father’s presence, while Omokri only made “fleeting visits” to his other children.
“Parenting should be about being consistently present in a child’s life, not about staged photos for social media,” Onuwaje wrote.
She urged the former presidential aide to prioritise genuine bonding and “meaningful moments over social media validation,” stressing the importance of him being a constant figure in his children’s lives.
