2027: Tambuwal Rallies Nigerians to “Send Tinubu and APC Packing”

SOKOTO — Former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto South, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has called on Nigerians to unite and mobilise for the removal of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) from power in 2027, accusing the current administration of plunging the country into deeper hardship and insecurity.

Tambuwal made the declaration on Friday in Sokoto, where he was received by a massive crowd of supporters from Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara states in what political watchers describe as a calculated show of force ahead of the next general elections.

The streets of Sokoto metropolis were lined with party loyalists, women’s groups, youth organisations, and political associates, waving banners and chanting solidarity songs as they welcomed the ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Addressing the cheering crowd, Tambuwal lambasted the APC-led Federal Government, saying the warning he and his allies gave in 2023 about Tinubu’s leadership has now become reality.

“In 2023, we went round the country warning Nigerians not to vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a man whose leadership would throw this country into what I called ‘Bola’s Garbage.’ Today, the hardship, hunger, and hopelessness around are proof of what we said,” Tambuwal stated.

He vowed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and allied political forces will mobilise nationwide to unseat the APC in 2027.

“My message is simple: we must join forces to send APC and Tinubu packing in 2027. We will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, and we will not allow the suffering of Nigerians to continue unchecked,” he declared.
