Tinubu Hails Mabushi Bus Terminal as Proof Renewed Hope Agenda Is Taking Shape

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the commissioning of the newly constructed Mabushi Bus Terminal in Abuja as a clear testament that the Renewed Hope Agenda is more than just a slogan.

The President, represented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, made the declaration on Tuesday during the official unveiling of the terminal, constructed under the supervision of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.

According to Tinubu, the facility is a strategic intervention aimed at improving transportation safety and curbing the menace of “one-chance” criminals who operate through unregistered vehicles.

“No longer will our citizens be left to the mercy of impromptu pick-up points,” he said. “They will now have a secure, well-regulated environment to board their vehicles, knowing that both the drivers and the vehicles are known and registered.”

He emphasized that the terminal not only ensures the safety of commuters but also represents tangible progress in his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“This is a clear demonstration that our Renewed Hope Agenda is not merely a slogan, but a lived experience for our people,” Tinubu stated.

The President also reiterated his administration’s commitment to job creation and economic empowerment through infrastructure development and urban renewal initiatives.

The Mabushi Bus Terminal is expected to serve as a model for safe, modern, and efficient public transport systems across the country.
