Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for president, filed a petition over the election on February 25, and the Presidential Tribunal in Abuja has deferred judgment.
Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Party (APC), and the Independent National Electoral Commission are additional respondents in the lawsuit.
After adopting the parties’ last written addresses, the tribunal reserved judgment for a time that would be made known to the parties.
