London, England — British broadcaster and outspoken Arsenal supporter, Piers Morgan, has delivered a scathing reaction following the Gunners’ 3–2 defeat to Manchester United in Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal suffered a disappointing home loss after goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha sealed victory for the Red Devils. The result leaves Mikel Arteta’s side four points adrift of second-placed Manchester City after 23 league matches.
Reacting on social media, Morgan described Arsenal’s performance as their worst of the season.
“More painful than breaking a hip. Worst performance of the season,” Morgan wrote on X.
In a follow-up post, he added: “Wake up Arsenal… since the Zubimendi disaster we’ve been a shambles.”
Arsenal will look to bounce back when they face Leeds United in their next Premier League fixture next weekend.
