Portugal – Afrobeats stars Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake are set to headline the Afro Nation 2026 festival, organizers have announced. The full lineup, revealed on X, promises a vibrant mix of Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall, and amapiano acts.
According to the festival team, “PHASE 3 IS HERE. Legacy energy meets Afro Nation debuts. This is the sound of a summer taking shape.”
The three-day festival will take place from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal. Burna Boy will open the festival on July 3 alongside South African star Tyla, followed by Asake on July 4, with Wizkid closing the event on July 5.
The 2026 edition will also feature international acts such as American R&B singer Kehlani and rapper Gunna. Other Nigerian stars on the lineup include Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal, and Mavo.
Early Access tickets go on sale on February 5, giving fans first dibs on what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of African music and culture.
Afro Nation has become a premier annual festival for showcasing African talent, and following a stellar 2025 edition that featured Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, and Qing Madi, the 2026 festival is expected to be even bigger.
