Wike Hails Fayose as ‘Younger Brother’ During Road Project Flag-Off in Abuja

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday, described former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, as his younger brother.

Wike made the remark during the flag-off ceremony of the construction of Collector Road CN2 (Emmanuel I. Ogala Street) linking Arterial N16 (Yemi Osinbajo Way) to N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), including Road ILS 5 within Katampe District, Abuja.

Speaking at the event, Wike said:

“Fayose is my younger brother, and I’m always happy anytime he comes to witness what his elder brother is doing.”

Both Wike and Fayose are prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and were part of the G-5 Integrity Group that opposed the presidential bid of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 elections.
