ABUJA — It was a proud moment for the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday as his son, Jordan, officially joined the ranks of Nigeria’s legal practitioners.
Jordan was among the latest batch of new lawyers called to the Nigerian Bar at a ceremony held at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.
Wike, who is a member of the Body of Benchers, participated in the ceremonial procession, alongside other dignitaries at the event.
Sharing pictures from the occasion, Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, wrote:
“Minister, Nyesom Wike, joined other members of the Body of Benchers in a procession at the Call to Bar ceremony today. His son, Jordan, is among the aspiring legal practitioners to be called to bar today.
“Happy Dad and Mum. FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, with their son, Jordan, who is to be called to bar today.”
The ceremony was marked by celebration as Wike and his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, proudly accompanied their son into the legal profession.
