Uche Montana Breaks Silence, Denies Involvement in Regina Daniels’ Alleged Drug Crisis

Nollywood actress Uche Montana has debunked rumors linking her to the alleged drug-related crisis involving fellow actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

In a statement posted on her Instagram page on Monday, Montana dismissed the circulating claims that she was one of the individuals undermining Daniels’ rehabilitation process.

The speculation surfaced after Senator Nwoko, in a lengthy Facebook post, reportedly accused some of Regina’s close associates — including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana — of ignoring doctors’ advice and bringing her substances she was undergoing treatment for.

Addressing the allegation, Montana wrote,

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

Her statement comes amid growing controversy surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage.

Recall that two weeks ago, Regina had alleged in a viral video that she was a victim of domestic abuse, claiming she felt like a “slave” in her husband’s home. Senator Nwoko, however, denied the accusations, insisting that his wife was struggling with “drug and alcohol addiction” and accusing her of attacking domestic workers.

The unfolding drama has continued to dominate social media conversations, drawing reactions from fans and industry insiders who have urged both parties to handle the matter privately.
