Kaduna, Nigeria — Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has received commendation following the completion and commissioning of the 23-kilometre road linking Madauchi to Kafanchan via Madakiya in Southern Kaduna.

The Principal Partner of Gatekeepers Consult and Walin Moro’a, Mr. Samuel Atung (SAN), described the project as a strategic milestone for the socio-economic development of Southern Kaduna. He noted that the road connects several communities within the Bajju Chiefdom and provides a critical alternative route to the Zonkwa–Samaru–Kagoro axis.

Speaking at ECWA Gospel Church, Majelisa Street, Television, Kaduna, Atung said the new road has significantly improved mobility and enhanced local commerce by reducing travel time between Kafanchan and Zonkwa.

While commending Governor Sani for what he termed landmark infrastructure projects, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria urged the state government to prioritise the rehabilitation of the Kafanchan–Kwoi road, citing its strategic importance to the region.

Also addressing the gathering, President of the Kaduna State Council of The Boys’ Brigade, Nigeria, Dr. Abraham H. Gaga, praised the governor for what he described as an empathetic and people-focused administration.

According to him, the current administration stands out in the state’s history, adding that residents do not take the governor’s efforts for granted but deeply appreciate the ongoing development initiatives.

The road project is widely seen as part of the state government’s broader efforts to improve infrastructure and stimulate economic growth across Kaduna State.
