KADUNA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday arrived in Kaduna State for a one-day official visit that combined politics, family ties, and celebration.
The President touched down at the Kaduna International Airport around 1:00 p.m., where he was warmly received by Governor Uba Sani, alongside Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, federal ministers, senators, and other top government officials.
During the visit, Tinubu is attending the wedding of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Idris. Nasirudeen is the son of former Zamfara State governor and current senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul’aziz Yari.
Beyond the festivities, the President is also scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Aisha Buhari, widow of former President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Buhari family residence in Kaduna.
The trip underscores both the political and personal dimensions of Tinubu’s engagements as he continues to strengthen ties across Nigeria.
