Tinubu Hosts Denmark’s Richest Man, Anders Holch Povlsen, in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received Denmark’s richest businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Bestseller, Anders Holch Povlsen, at the State House in Abuja.

The high-profile visit was disclosed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Povlsen, who also chairs the Bestseller Foundation, was accompanied by Denmark’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Jens Hansen, and other senior Danish officials.

Also in attendance were the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani.

Onanuga wrote:

“Denmark’s richest man, Mr Anders Holch Povlsen of BESTSELLER & BESTSELLER FOUNDATION, visited President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, Tuesday, October 28, 2025.”

The meeting highlights the Tinubu administration’s ongoing drive to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and strengthen Nigeria’s global economic partnerships.
