Super Eagles Set for Iran Clash in Antalya Invitational Tournament

0

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take on Iran in an international friendly match on Friday afternoon in Antalya, Turkey.

The encounter forms part of a four-nation invitational tournament featuring Jordan and Costa Rica, offering teams an opportunity to test their squads outside competitive action.

Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to use the fixtures to assess fresh talent and continue rebuilding the team following their outing at the Africa Cup of Nations.

With no points at stake, the friendly provides a low-pressure environment for experimentation and tactical adjustments.

The match will be played at the Corendon Airlines Park in Antalya, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 PM Nigerian time (6:00 PM local time in Turkey).

Originally slated to take place in Amman, the venue was relocated due to security concerns in the Middle East.
