Nigeria’s Super Eagles are gearing up for two high-profile international friendlies in the United States as part of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The three-time African champions will first square off against Venezuela at the Blue Energy Stadium in Houston on Friday, November 14. Four days later, they will lock horns with Colombia at the Citi Field in New York on Tuesday, November 18.
The clash with Colombia will be the third-ever meeting between the two nations. Interestingly, Los Cafeteros will also face New Zealand in Fort Lauderdale on November 15 before taking on Nigeria.
The friendlies are seen as crucial tune-up matches for the Super Eagles as they intensify preparations for the AFCON, which Morocco will host in December 2025.
