England striker Wilson moves to Newcastle from Bournemouth

England forward, Callum Wilson, 29, has signed a four-year deal with Premier League club Newcastle that will keep him until Summer 2024.

Wilson completed his move on Monday, September 7 2020, for a reported fee of £20 million ($26 million) to Steve Bruce’s side.

Newcastle club said in it’s statement that they are delighted to announce the signing of striker Callum Wilson from AFC Bournemouth.

Manager Bruce said he was delighted to sign the player from Bournemouth, who were relegated last season.

Newcastle beat off competition from a number of clubs in getting Wilson such as Aston Villa.

Wilson chose Newcastle as they appealed to him the most being a massive club with great history.
