Ondo: APC chief applauds Adelami’s appointment as Deputy Governor

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Prince Peter Oyeleye Fasua, has lauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the appointment of Chief Olayide Adelami, a former deputy clerk of the National Assembly, as Deputy Governor.

Fasua, who is Executive Director of Lagos Airport Hotel, Lagos and a representative of Ondo State on the Board of Odua Investment Limited, gave the commendation in a statement issued in Akure.

He remarked that Adelami as a reputable accountant would support the Aiyedatiwa administration effectively in ensuring that public funds are judiciously spent.

Fasua also said the new deputy governor would use his wealth of experience to achieve monumental development for the state in line with the redeemed agenda of the state government and the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu’s administration.

“Adelami is a seasoned technocrat and reputable public administrator. I have no doubt that he will do well in the area of improving the fortunes of the state and ensuring a better and quality life for the citizenry.

“I trust the new deputy governor to exhibit absolute loyalty. He must execute task assigned to him in a very diligent manner. A Deputy Governor must be 100% loyal and i am convinced that Chief Adelami possesses all the qualities mentioned “

“Once again, I congratulate him on his important assignment to set our state on the path of progress and development. He is well loved in the state as a cerebral, generous and a wonderful humanist.

“It is, therefore, expected that he would use his new office to further showcase himself as a man imbued with core values, competence, expertise and adroitness,” he enthused.

Meanwhile, Fasua has similarly applauded the appointment of Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi aka Tucana, as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Mr. Abayomi Olasanya, as Chief of Protocol.

He said the two gentlemen deserved the bestowal.
